COOLANGATTA TWEED AFL CLUB SET TO BECOME “POWERHOUSE” WITH UPGRADE

The Coolangatta Tweed AFL grounds are about to become a major sports hub, with upgrades underway.
Almost $1-million has been allocated for a new canteen and change rooms.
“The club’s been around since 1962 so this is the first time we’ve had an upgrade to these current facilities so it’s very exciting for the club,” President, John Lavendar, said.
The upgrade should be finished in time for the 2021 AFL season.
