An expert panel from Hunter New England Health has released its findings into the long-term impacts from uranium exposure in the Moonbi-Kootingal water supply.
The panel has found that the Australian Drinking Water Guideline for uranium is highly conservative, with the current levels not high enough to result in any long-term damage.
It’s also said that there is little scientific data concerning the health effects of uranium.
