A preliminary review of Hunter New England Health assets has revealed concerns surrounding the cladding used on Armidale Hospital.
An audit was conducted in response to London’s Grenfell Tower inferno last June, which killed 71 people.
The highly flammable polyethylene cladding has also been found on John Hunter Hospital, with interim safety measures already undertaken, until the cladding is removed.
