POLAR BEAR DAY RAISES GLOBAL WARMING CONCERNS

Henry and Liah were given some treats, in the form of a thermostat, to mark yesterday’s International Polar Bear Day, raising awareness of climate change.
“Heating and cooling represents nearly 40% of the power used right across the globe so what we want people to do is just adjust their thermometer a couple of degrees – bring that air conditioning down. In the car as well.”
While Henry has it made, climate change is believed responsible for a dramatic decline in wild polar bear numbers.
