North Coast surfers were unlucky in the Gold Coast Pro, both knocked out in the quarterfinals.
Tweed Heads’ Stephanie Gilmore scored a low one point five, defeated by Central Coast’s Macy Callaghan who scored 9.20.
Also eliminated was 16-year-old Zahli Kelly, beaten by almost four points against Isabella Nichols.. who went on to win the final.
