GLEN INNES GRAZIER DONATES $200,000 TO FIGHT BRAIN CANCER

The vision of the late Charlie Sutton, was realised today – as one by one, Glen Innes students received beanies to fight brain cancer.
The proceeds to the Mark Hughes Foundation – much appreciated, as Mark and his wife travelled to four local schools to hand them out.
“He’s such a special man and before his passing we promised to come and hand out the beanies to the community, which he paid for so it’s a really great day to be here today to represent Charlie and the Mark Hughes Foundation,” said Mark Hughes.
The effort to give head wear to every child in town was not his only donation.
Mr Sutton gave $200,000 to the Mark Hughes Foundation for brain cancer research, before he passed last month.
