A stunning graphite-on-paper work has taken out the 2020 Jacaranda Aquisitive Drawing Award.
Artist Teo Treloar, will take home $35,000 for his piece, ‘This is Impermanence’.
Niomi Sands says, “This is such a beautiful work, when we unwrapped it, it was just magical. The artist was just looking at his contemporary experience and exploring ideas of his own anxiety and depression.”
The JADA exhibition is now open to the public.
