DRIVER AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL FOLLOWING CRASH

A man has been airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition after being involved in a crash at Clothiers Creek on the New South Wales Far North Coast.
It’s believed the 70-year-old was driving a car when it collided with a truck shortly after 3 o’clock this afternoon.
The man was trapped inside his vehicle suffering serious injuries while emergency crews, including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, responded to the incident.
Fire and Rescue NSW attended the scene to address a fuel leak.
