The Inverell Hawks have received another boost ahead of next Group-19 season, with Pete Stevens unveiled as the new coach.
Stevens is seen as someone who can turn the Hawks around, after a tough year in which they finished second last on the ladder.
He had success coaching Gwydir last season, taking the team to the grand final in its first year.
Stevens will assemble the Hawks squad for pre-season training early next month.
