A teenager has drowned at a beach on the mid north coast this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Diamond Beach, near Hallidays Point at 1pm, after reports a teenage boy got into trouble while swimming with family members.
Police arrived, pulled the 17-year-old from the water and started CPR, before paramedics continued, but he sadly died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
