PANDEMIC CANCELS BYRON COASTAL CHARITY WALK FOR 2020

Organisers behind the Byron Coast Charity Walk have announced this year’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter fundraiser won’t go ahead due to the pandemic.

The event was postponed twice already, with organisers holding hope it would be third time lucky but it wasn’t meant to be.

Instead, a virtual event will be held in November before the COVID-safe walk in May next year.
