The Hunter’s Charlotte Poynting has returned home from her first appearance at the Clipsal 500 in the Aussie Racing Car series, proclaiming the Adelaide track her new favourite.
Poynting was happy to finish 11th out of 32 drivers.
“I definitely felt I could’ve been top 10 if we’d have had more testing, but it comes to practice so hopefully I can get on top of it by Tasmania and I can get inside the top 10.”
Poynting’s team is still searching for extra funding to compete at the next round in Tasmania.
