The huge trough line that caused yesterday’s storms is still passing over Queensland and the Northern Rivers.
The front and associated trough, which extends into the northern tropics, will move across eastern Queensland tomorrow.
The next major weather feature is a significant cold outbreak, which is closing in on the south-east. This will drop temperatures locally for the weekend.
