The Australian Coal Association is tonight launching a multi-million dollar advertising campaign, against the federal government’s proposed emissions trading scheme.

The group claims if the plan goes ahead, it will cost thousands of jobs, but environmentalists argue the coal campaign is merely a greedy ploy.
