CENTRAL COAST STABBING UNDER INVESTIGATION

Police are investigating the stabbing of a man at Tacoma on the Central Coast last night.
Emergency services were called to a car park near a fish co-op at Wolseley Avenue just after 7pm, after reports a 24-year-old man was stabbed.
Police were told he was with a group of friends in two separate vehicles in the carpark, when a small, black sedan pulled up next to them.
Four teenage boys were inside the car, armed with a knife, a glass bottle and a flick knife.
The group jumped from the car, stabbing the 24-year-old in the back, chest and head before driving away.
The injured man was treated by paramedics, before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers secured a crime scene and have started an investigation.
They’re asking for public help, and would like to speak to anyone at Tacoma’s fish co-op at 7pm last night.
