ICONIC NIGHTSPOT GETS A BLOCK MAKE-OVER

Meanwhile, the renewal of the inner city continues, with another iconic nightspot given a makeover.
The old Gunfighter’s Rest pub on Hunter Street, now known as 529 The Terrace, will open to the public tomorrow.
It features a revamped outdoor area, cocktail lounge and bar, courtesy of Block winner, Brad Cranefield.
“I think people will sort of be pleasantly surprised when they come in, if they’ve been here before to sort of see what it looks like now”, he said.
