A man will face court, charged with crashing his car while four times over the legal blood alcohol limit last Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to Mordue Parade at Jesmond shortly after 5.30 on September 8, to reports the man had crashed into a parked car.
They allege the 50-year-old returned a positive roadside breath test, and later blew 0.207 when tested at Waratah Police Station.
His licence was immediately suspended – he’s due to face Newcastle Local Court next month.
