TWEED COAST PRO CONTINUING JUST DAYS AFTER FATAL SHARK ATTACK

The Tweed Coast Pro will be going ahead this weekend at Casuarina Beach despite a fatal shark attack 20-kilometres north at Greenmount on Tuesday.
The two-day, broadcast event gets underway on Sunday and will be the first professional surfing competition to be held in Australia since the pandemic lockdowns.
Extra shark mitigation measures will be in place, including drones and jet skis.
