A wanted man is behind bars after police allegedly found a replica pistol and a knife inside a car at Tweed Heads last night.
The 36-year-old was charged with six offences, including drive motor vehicle whilst disqualified, possess unregistered unauthorised pistol in public place, not keep firearm safely, custody of knife in public place and possess prohibited drug, along with the outstanding arrest warrant.
He’s been refused bail to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court in November.
