A 68 year old man has pleaded not guilty to stabbing a neighbour in Lismore Heights last month.
Lindsay Duncan Lang failed to appear in court today, but his defence lawyer submitted the plea on his behalf.
Police alleged Lang recklessly wounded his neighbour after a dispute on High Street turned violent.
The victim received lacerations to his forearm and chest.
The case has been adjourned until May 23.
