Tamworth Regional Council has received some valuable community feedback following the launch of its “Revive the Region” campaign.
The initiative, which ended in July, asked residents to put forward ideas to revive the local economy, post-pandemic.
Council says ideas included competitions, tourism and economic stimulus.
“They’ve now been workshopped with our councillors and the councillors have agreed to essentially take all those 65 ideas on board, in some way.”
Council will investigate the validity of each idea further before allocating funding.
