NEW ARTS & CULTURE FESTIVAL COMING TO NEWCASTLE

A dazzling display of dance, music, and art is coming to Newcastle, as part of a festival called New Annual.

Launched by the council today, the 10-day cultural extravaganza will run from February 12 to 21, and provide a platform for creatives affected by the pandemic.

“We have amazing homegrown talent all throughout the city of Newcastle,” said Lord Mayor, Nuatali Nelmes.

“And the council has done a lot of work over the last couple of years to bring all of those artists together.”

The festival will be held at several venues, to comply with public health orders.
