24 of Australia’s best surfers will compete in the Tweed Coast Pro this weekend with the World Surf League giving the green light for the two-day event.
The broadcast-only charity competition, which kicks off on Sunday, is part of the Grand Slam of Surfing series and will include Stephanie Gilmore, Sally Fitzgibbons and Owen Wright.
Favourable conditions are expected at Cabarita Beach with an east swell forecast for the region.
