Maitland Council has secured $100,000 to fix up the main street of Morpeth, and surrounding public areas.
The money comes thanks to the state government’s Streets and Shared Spaces program, and will go towards upgrading outdoor seating, footpaths, roads and street parking.
Council will work with residents to identify parking issues and make improvements between October and November.
