MAN CHARGED AFTER POLICE ALLEGEDLY FIND FIREARMS IN TWEED UNIT

A 27-year-old man has also been charged in Tweed Heads after police allegedly seized firearms from a unit yesterday.
Officers say they located three gel blaster handguns, firearm parts, a canister of pepper spray and a laser pointer.
The man is facing a string of charges, including three counts of possessing firearms.
He was refused bail to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court today.
Investigations are ongoing.
