Blacksmiths Beach is now easier to access, thanks to the completion of a $380,000 upgrade.
There’s a viewing platform and a new pathway to the sand dunes.
“We know there’s a lot of people with a disability, who are in a wheelchair who wanna access our beach. And this is why we’ve put this here at Blacksmiths Beach.” – Cr. Kay Fraser, Lake Macquarie Mayor.
The patrol season begins on September 26.
