Greens MP Cate Faehrmann today paid a visit to the site of last week’s coal seam gas rallies near Casino.
Protesters stood vigil outside the Metgasco work site for seven days straight, calling on the state government to ban the use of holding ponds to store coal seam gas water.
“Obviously those holding ponds are evaporation ponds as much as you want to define it differently that’s what they are.”
Works at the Metgasco site remain suspendeded.
