The Melbourne Cup is coming to the Northern Rivers, with Casino announced as one of 26 towns hosting a leg of the annual People’s Cup tour later this month.
A virtual event will be held in the beef capital on September 21.
The tour gets underway in Moree, north-west of Tamworth, on Friday.
