FIRIES BATTLE SAN REMO BUSHFIRE

Dozens of firefighters were called to a bushfire at San Remo this afternoon.

RFS crews rushed to the area just before 2 o’clock, and quickly carried out back-burning to prevent the spread to nearby properties.

5 hectares of bush were charred.

The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
