MAN BITTEN BY DEATH ADDER AT SEAL ROCKS
A man’s recovering in hospital after being bitten by a death adder on the mid-north coast.
The 51-year-old was bushwalking at Seal Rocks when the snake attacked him, but he had no phone reception so he had to walk for 20 minutes to a campground to call for help.
Paramedics arrived just after midday and treated him at the scene, before he was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
