Plans to makeover the state’s oldest theatre have been given the green light.
A development application for Newcastle’s Victoria Theatre was approved by council last night – but the $11.5-million project is still short on funding.
Owner, Century Venues, says the project will create jobs and boost the Hunter’s live performance scene.
