COUNCIL YIELDS TO TOILET SOAP CAMPAIGNERS

There’s been a win for a community campaign, seeking to have soap placed in public toilets on the Central Coast.
Council has agreed to install dispensers at all of its 150 facilities, after residents took things into their own hands during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will cost around $27,000 per year to maintain soap in the dispensers.
Vandalism guards will also be rolled out at 20 locations the local government considers ‘high risk.’
