TAMWORTH WINDS BACK TO LEVEL 4 WATER RESTRICTIONS

There’s been some rare good news for Tamworth locals, with Council scaling back water restrictions, to Level Four.
Recent rain has seen Chaffey Dam rise to 25 per cent capacity.
The changes, which will see an increase in the daily consumption target, will come into effect next week.
“So instead of 150 litres per person, per day at level five, it’ll be 200 litres per person, per day at level four.”
Council is urging residents to continue their water-saving habits.
