It was a busy morning at Tamworth’s brand-new fire station, as the crew finally got the chance to show-off its new digs.
Firies moved into the $5-million facility earlier this month.
The impressive station boasts four engine bays and 24-hour accommodation facilities for crew members.
Today, a plaque was unveiled – marking the centre’s official opening.
“This station is for the community and it’s going to last for quite a number of years.”
