Police are hunting two men believed to be behind an attempted home invasion in the Hunter last weekend.
Armed with a firearm and an electronic stun gun, the intruders entered a home in Weston, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They demanded the five occupants of the house – four men and one woman – hand over their car keys.
The occupants refused and the intruders were chased from the scene by a 49-year-old man, who was in the house.
Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident.
Police say the residents didn’t know the intruders.
The pair was last seen heading west on Eighth Street at around 3.30 on Sunday.
