Newcastle’s iconic Mattara Festival returned to Nobby’s today.
The 53-year-old event proving it’s still a hit with the kids, despite Newcastle City Council no longer funding the initiative.
Organisers are now forced to rely on the generosity of the community.
The Mattara festival will finish at the end of the school holidays.
