TAMWORTH’S LAST SURVIVING WWII VETERAN REFLECTS ON NATIONAL VP DAY

Tamworth’s last-standing World War II veteran took a trip down memory lane today, on the 75th anniversary of the allied victory in the Pacific.
Jack Woolaston served in Papua New Guinea from 1942 until the war’s end on August 15th, 1945.
