The Rural Fire Service’s newest recruit at Tinonee has arrived with perfect timing – the keys to the 3,500 litre tanker handed over to the volunteers just ahead of the start of bushfire season.
The brand-new truck will help the brigade respond to emergencies such as fires or motor accidents in the Manning-Great Lakes region.
The $400,000 vehicle was funded by the State Government.
