TAMWORTH HOTELS READY FOR BUSIEST TIME OF YEAR

With the start of the Country Music Festival just 24-hours away,

Tamworth’s accommodation owners are relishing the start of their busiest 10-days of the year.

Management at the Cadman Motor Inn was left concerned though after a cancellation last week, but it’s already been filled.

Owner Paul Kelly says his motel benefits from its location, a short walk across the Gipps Street soccer fields to the CBD.

“Most people, they just leave their cars here. Some people book for the whole ten days, they stay here, and their car doesn’t move.”

Tomorrow night’s opening concert begins at Bicentennial Park at 7pm.
