Furniture left close to a heater has been found to have triggered a house fire in Gunnedah at Linden Place on Tuesday.
Fire and Rescue teams are urging property owners to be fire safe.
“Just keep anything combustible at least a metre away from the heater and be wary of curtains.”
“And as we always say, make sure you have a working smoke alarm in your house.”
Detectives are still investigating the cause of three other house fires in Gunnedah.
