A Northern Rivers’ COVID-19 patient is now being treated in ICU at Lismore Base Hospital after deteriorating while in self-isolation.
The person, aged in their 60s, tested positive for the virus last month after returning from Sydney.
There are five active coronavirus cases in the Northern New South Wales Local Health District.
