A Newcastle charity has taken gift-giving to the next level, wrapping more than 700 hampers for families in need this Christmas.
The baskets – assembled by volunteers – are designed to spread some festive cheer.

A Big job with bigger hearts. Well done to the organiser/s and volunteers. The highlight of my stay in Newcastle with my daughter and grandchildren was assisting with the setting up of tables on Christmas Day for lunch organised by a well known charity organisation. A small gesture, but one that I’ll always remember.
