PCYC’s FIT 4 SERVICE PROGRAM LAUNCHES IN LISMORE

Police Rescue put ten local high school students through their paces this morning to see if they have what it takes to be a first responder.
It’s part of a 10-week ‘Fit 4 Service’ program through Lismore’s PCYC – aimed at young people hoping to pursue a career with Emergency Services or the Defence Force.
“It also engages them to have an understanding as to what we as police do and how we can help them,” Detective Acting Inspector Ty Johnston said.
The Army, SES, NSW Ambulance and NSW Fire & Rescue will all be involved in the program over the coming weeks.
