WILDFIRES GO DOWN AT HOME IN ROUND 2

The Newcastle Wildfires have gone down in their first home game of the Shute Shield season.

At a gloomy Number Two Sportsground, Newcastle dug in early, going toe-to-toe with last year’s semi-finalists.

But Eastwood went up a gear – piling on 33 points.
