A man is recovering in John Hunter Hospital after a serious car crash at Gloucester this morning.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the intersection of Barrington Street and Denison Street, where a car and a motorbike collided just before midday.
The 66-year-old motorbike rider was initially treated by paramedics at Gloucester Hospital for leg injuries.
He was stabilised and airlifted to John Hunter in a stable condition, with lower limb fractures.
