A man has suffered suspected head injuries after falling from a horse in the Upper Hunter.
At around 9.30 this morning, the Westpac rescue chopper was tasked with an urgent medical transfer from Scone to the John Hunter Hospital.
A medical team stabilised the 20-year-old patient before airlifting him for further specialist treatment.
He’s in a serious condition.
