A Lake Macquarie man will face court today, accused of giving a 12-year-old girl drugs and sexually abusing her last year.
In November 2019, detectives started an investigation following a report that a girl had been abused
After extensive inquiries, a 25-year-old man was arrested at Wyong Police Station about 4.30pm yesterday.
He was charged with seven counts of having sexual intercourse with child over a four-day period in September 2019.
He was refused bail, and will appear at Wyong Local Court today.
