EIGHT NEW COVID-19 CASES IN NSW

New South Wales Health has confirmed eight new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed across the state overnight.

The new cases include a Hunter woman in her 20s who is the partner of a known case, and a Northern New South Wales woman in her 20s, who returned from Victoria.

Two others are returned travellers in hotel quarantine.

As of today, (Friday July 17) the total number of cases in New South Wales is 3,346.

There are 101 cases being treated by New South Wales Health, with one person in intensive care, who does not require a ventilator.
