PROPOSED ORGANIC RECYCLING FACILITY TO BE CONSIDERED BY PANEL NEXT MONTH

Tamworth could get its own organic recycling facility, with a development application going before council next month.

The project originally went to the Northern Regional Planning Panel back in February, but those discussions were deferred.

Council is seeking expressions of interest from contractors.

The facility is expected to cost around $15-million, with the state government already chipping in $3-million.
