POWERFUL WAVES WASH AWAY DUNES AT WAMBERAL

Powerful swell off the Central Coast has created a dangerous situation at Wamberal beach.

Staircases fell into the sea and walls crumbled today, as waves hammered the stretch of coastline, which is already badly eroded.

We’re being told to expect similar conditions over the coming days.
